Before having my baby, I vowed never to become one of those moms who just by virtue of giving birth felt compelled to start a mommy blog to share all things witty about mommyhood. And here I am, starting a blog to share all of the things I find witty about my experience in the world mommyhood.
Before having my baby, I also believed I had a leg up on this whole thing. My life’s work prior to getting preggers was in Big 4 consulting, software and start-ups. I worked insane hours, pulled all nighters, met impossible deadlines and quotas, dealt with every personality imaginable, time zone differences, jet lag, stress, pressure, etc, etc, etc. I thought I was especially prepared for this new role.
I was very wrong.
Becoming a mom has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and my baby is the toughest boss I’ve ever had. I often wonder what he is thinking, and what he would be saying if he could talk. This blog is that imagined dialogue between M.E. (Mama Employee) and B.B (my Baby Boss).
